I went there yesterday and drove a vehicle out to my mechanic to be checked out. He told me the price to offer and I returned to the dealership to negotiate. The manager was patronizing, badgering and rude. I was shocked! I have dealt with this company since 1988 and never had a bad experience. I actually had praises for them! After dealing with this guy, I won't be back! He lost a sale and a customer!
I went into Sharon Chevrolet to get an inspection for my 2015 Equinox, which only had 2 remaining payments and was greeted by a salesman, Dan DeGouff as I waited for the inspection. After a short conversation about the vehicle, he offered to run some numbers for me as I was looking to turn my lease in to update my vehicle. We test drove a 2018 Equinox and Dan proceeded to order me my vehicle of choice. He, along with Tyler were very accommodating to my needs /request. Dan went above and beyond a normal salesman, kept me informed of my purchase as we waited for a vehicle to come in through the holiday weekend. I couldn’t be happier with my dealings with Dan and love my new Equinox. I will recommend him to people I work with and bring future business to your dealership. They have a good selection of used cars. And their sales people are SHADY. The brake system has issues on the jeep I bought, all they did was put in new brake pads and never resolved the issue. On top of that, they almost sold me the Jeep without passing state inspection. (IT FAILED) The sales people are passive aggressive in pushing you to hurry up and sign everything without reading. I am mostly happy with my vehicle so far, HOWEVER their definition of "detailing the car" consist of vacuuming and wiping it down with a rag, they never shampooed anything. The jeep still has animal stains on the seats *very noticeable* that were their before i bought the vehicle so they are pretty lousy when it comes to that. (Bought it early this week) OH! and when i mentioned that they gave me the car on an empty tank...they just directed me down the street to the nearest gas station...i was driving there with the warning light on and the engine started to choke by the time i pulled into the pump. They show no regards or courtesy to their customers. Overall i wouldn't recommend them to anyone, they need to be investigated by the better business bureau.
